Mark your calendars—snow is in the forecast this December! Arizona Science Center’s Snow Week, made possible by Subaru, returns for its tenth anniversary with a blizzard of activities the whole family will love. Enjoy subzero science with our dazzling demonstrations on the hour, Penguin Skating and even build your own Snowpal!

Snow Week activities are included with general admission to the Science Center. Additional tickets are required for Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater, Dorrance Planetarium and featured exhibition. Children under 3 are always FREE.

The Science of Skating
Discover the science behind this sport with demonstrations from Nancy Pluta of High Note Productions. Every twist, turn and jump relies on a mastery of complex physical forces. Hourly demonstrations from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on December 28, 29 and 30.



Arizona Skies: Winter
Discover Arizona’s winter night sky, complete with stories about constellations that can only be seen during this time of year. End your experience with a trip through the cosmos!
